Years in the making!

My best friend's wedding was magical, lovely, classic and she looked breathtaking.







I hope it was everything she imagined the day would be. The incredible amount of work and planning she put into the day payed off. I don't think I could have pulled off such a special event and still be standing there (and looking fabulous to boot). Total. complete. love.

It's so festive at the mansion! We have never had a proper tree, so we finally indulged and now I am surrounded by soft, glowing lights. Lola enjoys wiping her face on it.

Time off from school means small home renovations (read: hours of painting textured walls), making holiday gifts and squeezing as much time out of the weekends as we can. I hope there will be a good shindig or two thrown in there :) I can't wait to have everyone in our home, drinks in hand!
